Mandatory registration of Digital Signature with EPFO

Central PF Commissioner in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 36 (7) of the EPF Scheme 1952 has ordered compulsory registration of employers and their authorized signatories digital signature (Class 2, Class 3, and DGFT) with the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).

A statement from the EPFO said the order comprises establishments with more than 500 members of the ECR and ECR 101-500 members to register by June 30.

Separate establishments which have equal or less than 100 members ECR issue but also will be in the interest of such establishments to register with their Digital Signature Instruction the statement added.
